I was walking behind my mother up some steps today when she lost a shoe. She stretched her foot back to retrieve it and managed to kick me right in the cooter.

Rebecca:
Mom, you just kicked me in the cooter.

Rebecca’s mom:
*laughing* I’m sorry.

Rebecca:
It’s okay; it isn’t the worst thing that’s ever happened to my cooter.

Rebecca’s mom:
I really don’t want to know.

I never use the word “cooter” so I’m not wholly sure where it came from today, but there it is. Also, I won’t bother to name the guy who made me think “it isn’t the worst thing that’s ever happened to my cooter.” That’d just be mean.
